I’m Beth!
I grew up in June Lake, California and moved to Southern Utah as a young teen, where I stayed until graduating high school. After spending a few years in Southern California, I married and relocated to Springfield, MO.
Following the dissolution of my marriage, I chose to stay in Springfield, drawn by its affordability, which catapulted my journey into money management and financial education.
I remarried and, nine years later, went through another divorce. This chapter of my life led me to explore mental health. It started with my own mental health which grew into a blog that continues to expand my mind.
Today
I live with my love and our two dogs in the country. I write every day, sing in the shower, encourage my friends, and constantly yearn for more.
The experiences of divorce, unpacking trauma, managing money, and navigating relationships have fueled my drive for women’s empowerment and advocacy. The beautiful and messy journey of life has taught me that curiosity is not just a skill that opens your mind—it opens your heart.
What lights me up is
Connecting with people-especially women- through our personal stories and learning how we’ve overcome challenges and how we are using our hardships to uplift others.
Reflecting on my journey, I consider myself lucky to have day jobs that matched my passions. I provide counseling and education on money management, credit management, and real estate investing, drawing on my extensive experience in these areas.
I’ve cultivated a life on my terms by improving my mental and financial health that allows me to spend my time doing what I love!
