I used to watch YouTube videos of inspirational speakers, such as Tony Robbins, Tom Bilyeu, Simon Sinek, and Mel Robbins. These would fill me up and motivate me for the day. Then, I discovered podcasts and that opened up many more options for me. Now, I listen to podcasts regularly for entertainment and education. Here are some I enjoy. I am excited to share them with you. I hope you will enjoy them too!
Hosted by Glennon Doyle, author of Love Warrior and Untamed, blogger at https://momastery.com/blog/, and speaker. Also includes Abby Wambach, Glennon’s Wife, author of Wolfpack and six-time winner of the U.S. Soccer Athlete of the Year award; and Sister (Amanda Doyle), Glennon’s sister and an attorney.
I’ve been a fan of Glennon Doyle since 2017 when I found a YouTube video of her speaking on Oprah Winfrey, Super Soul Sunday. I had just started my healing journey and resonated with her because she was saying all the things I was feeling at the time. That video inspired me to read her book, Love Warrior and then her most recent release, Untamed, and I am obsessed with her work. Glennon is real, raw, and not afraid to speak her truth. Her story is fascinating to me, so naturally I was ecstatic when she launched the We Can Do Hard Things podcast.
Glennon, Abby, and Amanda have incredible synergy and feed off each other without talking over one another. All three women have different perspectives and complement each other and the guests they bring on the show. Their guests are just as raw and real as Glennon. By the time each episode is over, you feel like you know the guest and always get a takeaway or two.
I’m like a giddy little girl opening an Amazon package when I get a new episode notification twice per week. I highly recommend this podcast, especially if you have a growth mindset or just want to listen to other women tell their stories.
Hosted by David Greene, former police officer, CEO of the Keller Williams East County team, as well as a successful real estate agent and author of three real estate investing books; and Brandon Turner, real estate investor, podcaster, author, entrepreneur, and speaker.
If you know me or know of me, you are aware I am obsessed with all things real estate! Ever since I bought my first investment property in 2010 and then worked for an up and coming real estate firm from 2014-2019, real estate consumed my life and still does.
Now that I’m a licensed real estate agent, my clients call me the Super Agent because of all the knowledge I soaked up like a sponge for the last eight years. This podcast feeds my obsession, inspires me, and gives me some practical advice.
David and Brandon are real estate investors and have so many great nuggets to share because they have the real estate investing bug, too. I love the energy they bring to the podcast and how they tease each other. They bring on guests that are experienced and share stories of the ups and downs and what to do and not to do. They also sometimes bring on guests that are fairly new to real estate who jumped in the water head first and never looked back!
This podcast has educated me in many ways and given me great hacks for the market I’m currently in. If you are a real estate investor or want to become one, this is the podcast for you! Beware: The podcast is highly addictive and there are many episodes to binge. You’ll be glad you did though!
Hosted by Dan Cummins, American stand-up comedian and Lynze Cummins, costume designer.
I’ve had my fair share of ghostly and afterlife encounters and I’m extremely intrigued by others’ experience with the “other side.”
Lynze and Dan are a married couple and have different takes on the paranormal which makes for an entertaining podcast. Dan is supposed to scare Lynzie to death and at times it works. But, she isn’t the only one getting spooked! You will laugh, scream, and scratch your head in disbelief. I absolutely LOVE their banter and teasing, all while getting scared at the same time.
They have their own lingo, dolls, and spooky artifacts in their studio. Personally, I enjoy watching them on YouTube while I get ready in the morning because they typically have fascinating photos that are attached to their story. Lynze will often tell a few stories, submitted by fans, that contain personal paranormal encounters.
Dan often tells stories you’ve probably heard before but in his own way. After each story, they discuss their own thoughts, feelings, and share some creepy photos. They are a great pair to watch and listen to due to the nature of the show and their unique personalities.
I have NOT missed an episode yet and have NEVER been disappointed with any of their content. Even if you don’t believe in the afterlife, you will still be entertained by this podcast. Maybe you had an unexplained experience you’d like them to showcase on their podcast?
Hosted by Pete McPherson, blogger.
I just had to throw this one in here given the nature of my new found love, BLOGGING.

He has a plethora of entrepreneurs, bloggers, and podcast hosts. Each gives specific techniques they currently use to make money. We can all do these! Listen to a few of his podcasts because you will get a takeaway and hopefully apply them to your blogging business.
Hosted by Courtney Armstrong, television creator, developer, and producer of The Piketon Massacre podcast.
You didn’t think I would leave out true crime, did you?
Since I am a woman, I LOVE true crime such as ID Discovery or Dateline NBC. I am fascinated with the human psyche and why we do what we do. Unfortunately, I was in an abusive relationship for many years and had my soul crushed. It almost took me down so there is a bit of a familiarity with these women and their stories..
This podcast showcases men and women once in a love that went terribly wrong. Someone always ends up dead. I am captivated by the experts who comment on the cases.. Most of the time, it is a police officer or detective who cracks the case and solves the mystery. As the podcast goes on, we as listeners slowly hear the story unravel and find out why one lover killed the other. You’ll be surprised by all of the characters involved in these heinous crimes. It’s disturbing and intriguing and I hope none of you get caught up in any situation that is described in this podcast!
If you are a true crime fan like me and have ever been in love, then this is a podcast you will thoroughly enjoy. These episodes are short, only around 30 minutes, and you will be engrossed the entire time.
I’d love to hear what podcast you listen to!
