Enthusiasm has always come naturally to me and I enjoy letting people know when I am happy or proud of them! 99% of the time it comes across as a cheerleader. I LOVE being everyone’s cheerleader!
Today a co-worker asked me “Why are you so chipper all the time?”
I replied: “Because I am happy.”
He asked: “Why are you so happy?”
Me: “Because I am thankful.”
Co-worker: “What are you thankful for?”
I proceed to tell him “I am alive, I have a job I love, good health, family and friends…..”
*LIGHT BULB MOMENT*
I can think of a million things I am thankful for and I struggle to find things I am not thankful for.
Even though I am facing personal issues and uncertainty, I am still grateful for those too! WOW! How awesome is that?
Wait a second……..How can this be, when the norm is to focus on negativity?
The answer is I choose to put all of my focus on the positive because positivity enables me to be happy.
Don’t get me wrong, I have difficult days just like everyone else but I learn from them and grow.
I was given the gift of enthusiasm and it is my duty to act upon it the way it is intended.
My struggles are forcing me to grow, learn, and mature. Thank goodness for my issues, my hardships, and all the cards I have been dealt because they are catapulting me to new heights!
I want to shout from the rooftops how excited I am those times occurred because if they hadn’t I would not able to help anyone. I am extremely grateful I can say “I have been there.”
So I say this with confidence: “I am thankful therefore happiness comes naturally.”
Be happy my friends!

I love your enthusiasm. It draws me to you. I know I can’t always match it in real life like you can, but I’m learning from you. You have changed my life and I’m grateful for that! Who cheers for the cheerleader? Me! I’ll do it! I’m happy to do that whenever I can!
